In 1959, Troop 37 was first chartered by the Cathedral Oaks Elementary School (Selmar Wake Center). Over the years we have been chartered by many organizations including the Optimist Breakfast Club of Santa Barbara, the Goleta Daytime Lions Club, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, the Downtown Optimist Club, the Salvation Army, the Elks Lodge #613, and our current charter organization the Goleta Noontime Rotary Club.
Over the 60 years of Troop 37's existence, we have proudly admitted 68 Scouts to the rank of Eagle while being served by 21 Scoutmasters.
